Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!

We wish all the residents of Crosswinds, a very Happy Memorial Day! This weekend, while we get together to celebrate with friends, let us remember those in the armed forces who give the lines “Land of the free, home of the Brave” their true meaning. Be safe and be happy!

Transition Planning Commission CLUE Meeting

Transition Planning Commission CLUE Meeting

If your child goes to any of the Optional Schools in Memphis City and are enrolled in the CLUE (Creative Learning in an Unique Evironment) you may find this information useful:

The Transition Planning Commission is holding a meeting about CLUE on Monday, May 21st from 6-8pm at The Teaching & Learning Academy 2485 Union Avenue. Parents will have the opportunity to address this body as to the importance of keeping CLUE in the Primary grades (K-3) once the merger takes place. This particular part of the CLUE program is the most at risk as it is locally funded. After the 3rd grade the program is funded by the state.

If you are a county resident, it will be especially important for you to come and speak as to why you chose a city school and this CLUE program specifically.
